Delicious Homemade Pesto
Ingredients and Method
- 3 good handfuls of Fresh Basil, picked and chopped
- 1 handful Pine nuts, lightly toasted
- 1 good handful Parmesan, freshly grated
- 1 Garlic Clove, chopped
- Sea Salt
- Black Pepper
- Olive Oil
- Grind the garlic with a pinch of salt and the basil leaves in a pestle and mortar.
- Next add half the parmesan – stir gently and add olive oil until you get an oozy consistency.
- Season to taste and add the remaining cheese. Easy and delicious!
