Don’t forget to give your oven the once over during your Spring clean! Gently chip away any burnt food that may have gathered at the base of your oven before giving it a deep clean with vinegar and baking soda.

To follow this method, mix ½ a cup of baking soda with 3 tablespoons of water to make a spreadable paste. Using a brush, coat the inside of the oven with the paste (avoiding the heating elements). Leave for 12 hours.

After this period, wipe off as much of the dried on baking soda as you can using a damp cloth. Fill a spray bottle with vinegar and spritz over the remaining baking soda before wiping off with a damp cloth.

Once you have tackled the oven, take some time to clean and season your Cast Iron Cookware to help it look like new again. This will ensure a non- stick surface and will help prevent it from looking grey and dull.
