Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake


  • 6 tablespoons of unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 75g of brown sugar
  • 110g of granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 220g of all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon coarse salt
  • 200g cup chocolate chips


  1. In a large bowl combine butter and sugars with a wooden spoon or electric whisk, then stir in the egg and vanilla. Next stir in the flour, baking soda and salt.
  2. Lastly add the chocolate chips and mix well. Grease your Typhoon 10 inch Frying Pan and add your mixture. Smooth the top with the back of a spoon or with a spatula.
  3. Preheat oven to 180C / 350F/ gas mark 4. Bake for 20 minutes or until the cookie is golden brown and just set in the centre. Let it cool for 5 minutes then enjoy.
