This mechanism is much stronger than plastic or metal and not only makes light work of crushing salt and pepper, it breathlessly grinds spices and herbs, such as chilli, basil and flax seed, crushes garlic and even coffee beans! The CrushGrind® ceramic mechanism is fully adjustable – allowing you to choose the coarseness of your grind. The ceramic mechanism will not corrode; it has passed a durability test equal to 200 years of usage! All mills come with a 25 year warranty on the mechanism.
